Galactic Survivors is a bullet heaven roguelike in the theme of a 1980s space shooter arcade game.
About
In this game you must level up to kill hoards of aliens. There are 2 types of upgrades, active upgrades(colored in red) and passive upgrades(colored in blue). Once you unlock 4 of the same type the game will stop letting you select new upgrades of that type so you can focus on upgrading what you have. Choose your upgrades wisely.

Thanks for playing! A core part of the game is the different item combinations. Depending on what you choose you can lose early on or completely destroy the game making it trivially easy. A good strategy is to try and focus on one power up at first rather then spreading out your levels. The power ups get exponentially stronger as you level them up so this might help. Balancing this game was one of the hardest parts of making it and I wasn’t able to get it absolutely perfect in time for the jam. I do plan to rebalance some things after the jam is done.
